Introduction

INTERACTIVE PLATFORMS FZCO (the “Company”, “Us” or “We”) is a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our Company recognizes the fair and lawful collection, controlling and, when incident, the processing of your personal data and is committed to comply with the provisions of this Policy throughout its activity and services. This Policy contains the Company’s privacy practices in relation to information that we collect through website operated by us and from which You are accessing this Policy (the “Domain”) or through the software applications made available by us for use, particularly the Platformmm app (the “App”).

By accessing or using the Domain or the App and/or by using of availing any of our services, you consent to this Policy and the privacy statements contained herein.

For the purposes of this Policy:

“IP Address”: Your “IP Address” is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). An IP Address may be identified and logged automatically in our records when you access the Domain or the App. Such information is useful to us in order to calculate and monitor the level of usage of our Domain/App, administer them and further understand the demographics of our overall Users.

“You” or a “User” refers to any individual who visits or otherwise uses the Domain and/or the App, either in that individual’s personal name, either by that individual acting on behalf of a company, institution or other entity.

“Personal Data” refers to any information related to or belonging to a natural person, either identified or identifiable, being understood that such information may be used as stand alone information or in conjunction with other types of data, allowing the identification of a natural person (generally called data subject).

“Sensitive Data” / “Special categories of personal data” means Personal Data on or referring to ethnic or racial origin; health data; religious, political or social beliefs; biometric data; genetic data; political opinions; bank account numbers or credit/debit card data (enumeration non limitative).

Types of data we collect about you

Personal Data: Represents information that identifies You as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual, including: name, title, company name, job function, area of expertise and/or email address, IP Adress or cookies.
Sensitive Data: We do not collect and we do not process Sensitive Data of any of our Users.
Other data: Represents any information that does not reveal your specific identity or does not directly relate to an identifiable individual. This might include, for instance, Domain or App usage data; information collected through cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies; demographic data and resulting data from aggregating Personal Data with non-personal data.

How do we collect data about you?

Personal Data. We collect data about you when you are a User.

Through the Domain/App: We may collect Personal Information when you request services, contact us, subscribe to our email newsletter and marketing material, download content (e.g. an article) or subscribe to avail our services via the Domain or the App or both (this enumeration is non limitative).
Automatically: In certain cases, we may collect data via third party platforms (such as social media pages), however the data processing activities of these third party platforms are not in our control and is subject to the Disclaimers at Section L in this Policy. We may also collect data that we receive by using advertisements or marketing communications (allowing us to track and analyse certain preferencesand activity). Unless combined with Personal Data, such automatically collected data does not personally identify You.
Information From Other Sources: In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers, and services to you, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, events participation, requests for proposals made by You or an employer or entity you represent or inquire on behalf of.

Other data and information. Directly or via third party service providers, we may collect the below types of data:

Through Your Browser or Device: Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version, and the name and version of the Domain or App you are using.
Through Your Use of the Apps: When you download and use the App in your terminal, we and our service providers may gather and monitor usage data, including the date and time your device accesses our servers, as well as the information and files downloaded to the App, linked to your device’s unique identifier.
Through Cookies and Other Similar Technologies: We may use third parties to serve advertisements or links to other websites that may be of interest to you, based on information collected about your use of our Domain and App. By using these, you expressly acknowledge and agree that third party companies may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser (including through the use of pixel tags and web beacons).
Trough aggregation of data: Aggregated data does not personally identify you or any other User, however we may do such aggregation to determine a specific concentration of Users in a geographical area.

Why do we need and use Personal Data and how do we use such data?

The purposes are listed below, in a non-limitative enumeration:

To respond to your inquiries and fulfil your requests, such as to send you requested materials and newsletters, as well as provide services via the Domain and/or the App.
To send administrative information to you, for example, updates regarding our services, updates on our Domain and/or App, changes in policies including this Policy, changes in our terms of use etc.
To send you marketing communications or advertisements about our services or the services of our Related Parties.
For our business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, developing new products, enhancing, improving or modifying our Domain/App, services, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and operating and expanding our business activities.

You must acknowledge that not all data we collect about Users is Personal Data. In relation to data that qualifies as Personal Data, we may collect:

Identification data, for example, name, contacts, a company that you represent or own or are affiliated with;
Data relating to academic qualifications, for example, job title, qualifications, certifications;
Professional and work experience data, for example, function, job description, company, office address, employer information;
Professional activity data, for example, business activities, information relating to processes and files, data relating to due diligence, data related to your interaction with other Users.

Personal Data is stored in cloud structures and such structures are contracted by us via third party providers. Unless obliged by law or an authorized law enforcement institution, we do not disclose Personal Data to third parties, save as for marketing and advertisement purposes. Note that our Domain and App are backed with cloud servers and these belong to our third party hosting providers, whereby their data centres may be located in different parts of the world. In limited cases, this may result in Personal Data being transferred in various geographical locations, internationally, for back ups.

We maintain and store Personal Data for an overall period of 5 years calculated from the time of collection, unless otherwise mandated by law.

Security of your data

We have developed and constantly implement contingency measures, including security controls to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. While we take reasonable precautions to protect data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure, it’s important to understand that no security measures can guarantee complete protection against breaches or hacking. You must also be aware that certain data is stored in cloud structures that are finally under the control of third parties. As a result, there is always some level of risk when sharing personal information online. If you believe that the security of your account has been compromised, or if you feel your interaction with us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately.

Your rights to your Personal Data

If you would like to access, correct, amend, remove or limit the use or disclosure your Personal Data, please notify us without delay at support@platformmm.com

For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we will verify your identity before implementing your request in order not to compromise the integrity of other User’s data.

Please note that we may need to retain certain information for record keeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such access, change or deletion.

Further, you have the following rights, to which we respond as below advised, when notified over email at support@platformmm.com

You may withdraw the consent to this Policy and underlying processes at any time. However, such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of any processing occurring prior to such withdrawal and made in compliance with this Policy. In case of total withdrawal of your consent, you may not be able to use our services and this implies termination of provision of our Services with immediate effect, according to our Terms and Conditions support@platformmm.com. Any further usages of the Domain and/or App will imply recollection of Personal Data, subject to this Policy.
You may opt-out of receiving marketing messages from us by sending an email to us or unsubscribing to our email marketing materials, stating your request. Please note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages such as updates on our Terms and Conditions, updates in this Policy etc.
You may wish to know what Personal Data we collect or have about you and we agree to provide you such data, via a machine readable format;
You may notify us with a request to rectify, amend or correct the Personal Data we collect or have about you and we will inform you as soon as these tasks have been completed;
You may notify us with a request to delete or stop processing your Personal Data, case in which we will notify you when the processing of Personal Data has ceased;
You may notify us on your decision to process Personal Data only according to specific purposes (for example to receive only App related information, and for no other purposes). We engage to comply with such request and inform you in writing of the required changes, as and if needed.

Third Party Sites

The Domain and/or the App may permit you to link to other websites through direct links or through applications such as “share” or “Like” buttons, and other websites likewise may contain links to our platforms, including the Domain and/or the App.

At all times, third party websites/apps are governed by privacy statements that we do not control and fall outside the scope of this Policy. It is your sole responsibility to read and be aware of the privacy statements of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party websites. Finally, we are not liable for the privacy statements of third-party websites or apps and we decline any responsibility to You in this respect.

Similarly, we do not control and are not responsible for the practices of other organizations, such as Meta, Apple, Google, Microsoft, or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, including any personal data that you share with these organizations (even if this disclosure is related to our services or our Domain/App).

Sensitive Data

We do not control, process and/or ask to receive Sensitive Data from any User. Therefore, we accept no liability for such information provided via the Domain and/or the App. According to our Terms and Conditions, payments in relation to our services are processed via third-party payment gateways and subject to the terms of these third-party providers. We do not have access and we do not receive or request your banking information, credit/debit card numbers, accounts or any other related information.

Cookies are small files placed and stored on the end user’s device (e.g., computer, tablet, mobile phone) when accessing the Domain and/or App. We use cookies to enhance user browsing experiences, track Users’ activity on the Domani and/or App, facilitate marketing efforts, and optimize functionality and responsiveness of our Domain and/or App.

While cookies are typically sent to the server that set them or to a server within the same internet domain, newer internet protocols allow for the transmission of cookies to third-party websites (“Third Party Cookies”). For instance, an advertisement displayed on a social media platform page may transmit cookie information to the browser accessing the media platform (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla, Safari).

Users can choose to disable cookies in their browser settings; however, doing so may affect their browsing experience or limit access to certain features of the Domain and/or App. For instance, disabling cookies could prevent users from completing transactions and pay subscriptions for our services. The management of browser settings is beyond our control and we assume no liability in this respect. Please be aware that some cookies may collect personal information, and in such cases, any collected data collected from the Domain/App or in relation to them will become Personal Data and will be handled in accordance with this Policy.

We utilize cookies for the following purposes:

Enhancement of our platforms activity, responsiveness, performance, features (for both the Domain and the App);
User recognition and preferences for future marketing and advertisement activity;
Metrics and analysis of overall activity on the Domain and/or App.

What types of Cookies do we use?

We generally use two types of cookies:

Session cookies: Temporary in nature and disabled upon leaving the Domain and/or App;
Persistent cookies: Remain stored in the User’s browser even after it is closed or even if the User is engaged in browsing other internet domains.

Our Domain and/or App may contain links to external websites and advertisements from third parties or links to social media platforms. Please note that these external websites are not controlled by us and may utilize cookies and/or collect user personal information.

Google Analytics and similar technologies offered by Google Inc. provide website traffic statistics, traffic source analysis, and conversion tracking. These technologies utilize cookies, and their operations are solely determined and controlled by the respective companies, not by us.

If and when we decide to use such technologies, the purpose would be to enhance our platforms integration, marketing and sales purposes, metrics and analysis, provision of our services. By accessing the Domain and/or the App, you consent to the data processing requirements as per this Policy (in so far as we do processing) and of third party providers such as Google Inc. (for their part of the processing activities).

Reservations and Disclaimers

This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, for any reason whatsoever. We decline any responsibility to any data related activity undertaken by third parties.

Changes to this Policy

The Company may amend this Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will become effective when we post the revised Policy on the Domain and/or App and become immediately applicable to You at the time of posting on the Domain and/or App.
